As I mentioned in my previous post, it's time to become more involved in Maryland politics. Unfortunately, we just missed what may have been the best opportunity of the year to meet and greet those individuals representing the various factions of the Maryland GOP. I realize that some of you are a bit disappointed in my offerings to date, but grassroots movements start with one person determined to make a difference. I'm learning the players, the sites, and the history and hope to share what I learn as we go along.
I hope you will consider joining me as there are two major ways to get your voice heard....money and votes. Frankly, our individual votes are really not worth much, but we can change that situation very easily if we join those votes together and speak with one voice. I ask that you consider doing so and help me to represent you in a way that can change Maryland for the better.
We must begin now if we are to have any influence on the Maryland Governor's race. At the moment I'm looking at Larry Hogan and Dan Bongino, but the first question is whether they can reach some kind of agreement prior to an expensive primary contest. It seems to me that an early decision, depending on any ideological differences that may exist, might improve the chances of either one winning in the general election.
